Abstract

An electronic device having an expansion card inserted in a casing, especially an electronic device such as a computer called work station. The electronic device has a reinforcement structure easy to be assembled and maintained. The electronic device has a reinforcement component having the shape of a circularly bent PET sheet (330) at the tip of a reinforcement metal fitting (320). By inserting the reinforcement component, which is provided at the reinforcement metal fitting (320) and has the shape of the circularly bent PET sheet (330), into an opening (207) formed at the side face of the expansion card (200) fitted in the casing, the expansion card (200) is protected from a shock applied during transporting the casing.
