Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'assistance d'un usager pour les manœuvres en côte de son véhicule comprenant un système de freinage et une commande électronique de freinage, équipé d'au moins un capteur de pression maître- cylindre, et dont la pression sur chaque étrier du véhicule peut être contrôlée, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à : (a) estimer le couple transmis par l'embrayage, (b) enregistrer une information correspondant à la valeur de la pression maître-cylindre résultant de l'actionnement par un usager de la pédale de frein, (c) mettre à jour l'information enregistrée correspondant à la valeur de la pression maître-cylindre, lorsque l'usager ré-actionne la pédale de frein en appuyant davantage dessus ou en la relâchant partiellement, caractérisé en ce que lorsque l'usager relâche complètement la pédale de frein, le système de freinage maintient, pendant une durée déterminée, la pression sur les étriers en fonction d'une consigne de pression égale à la valeur de la dernière information enregistrée.
