Abstract

Cette enceinte comprend un haut-parleur à mode distribué (10), avec un panneau radiant non-pistonique (12) excité avec distribution aléatoire de l'amplitude et de la phase par au moins deux transducteurs électroacoustiques (14, 16) placés de manière prédéterminée non-symétrique sur le panneau radiant. Des moyens amplificateurs (48) reçoivent un signal d'entrée à reproduire et couplés en sortie auxdits transducteurs, et des moyens de filtrage distribuent entre les deux transducteurs, selon une caractéristique fréquentielle respective prédéterminée, le signal à reproduire délivré par les moyens amplificateurs. Les moyens amplificateurs (48) comportent une pluralité d'étages de puissance à commutation de classe D (52, 54, 56), distincts, dont chacun est directement relié en sortie à un transducteur respectif. Les moyens de filtrage sont des moyens de filtrage numérique (60-66) disposés en amont des étages de puissance, pour appliquer la caractéristique fréquentielle respective prédéterminée au signal à reproduire avant transmission de ce dernier à chacun des étages de puissance respectifs.
