Abstract
Disclosed is a lightweight optical component with high degree of freedom in design, which has many variations of light. Also disclosed is an illuminating device. Specifically disclosed is an illuminating device comprising a light source (21) and an optical filter (50) reflecting light of a certain wavelength among the light emitted from the light source (21). The optical filter (50) comprises a plastic base and a transparent coating film fixed on the base by physical vapor deposition. The transparent coating film is formed as an optical film wherein double layers of silicon dioxide and titanium oxide or a titanium oxide composite material are laminated.
