Abstract

Le procédé de gazéification selon l'invention fait intervenir d'une installation comprenant une chambre de traitement dans laquelle les matières à traiter passent successivement par une zone de séchage/pyrolyse de dimensions variables dans laquelle s'effectue une extraction de gaz de pyrolyse, puis par une zone de gazéification de dimensions variables dans laquelle s'effectue une extraction de gaz de synthèse. Le gaz de pyrolyse est injecté dans le ciel de la chambre de traitement (8) avec un gaz comburant, de manière à engendrer une réaction d'oxydation exothermique apportant l'énergie nécessaire aux réactions de pyrolyse et de gazéification, Les dimensions et/ou la position des zones de séchage/pyrolyse et de gazéification sont réglées en fonction des quantités de matière à traiter introduite dans la chambre de traitement (8), de leur nature et/ ou des besoins en puissance énergétique.
