Abstract

 本発明により、以下のグルタチオンおよびγ-グルタミルシステインの製造法が提供される。  以下の細胞内のグルタチオンを細胞外へ輸送する活性を有する蛋白質の活性、およびグルタチオンまたはγ-グルタミルシステインの生合成に関わる蛋白質の活性が親株より高い微生物を培地に培養し、該培地中にグルタチオンまたはγ-グルタミルシステインを生成、蓄積させ、培養物中からグルタチオンまたはγ-グルタミルシステインを採取するグルタチオンまたはγ-グルタミルシステインの製造法。 [1]配列番号1~26のいずれかで表されるアミノ酸配列を有する蛋白質 [2]配列番号1~26のいずれかで表されるアミノ酸配列において、1以上のアミノ酸が欠失、置換または付加したアミノ酸配列からなり、かつグルタチオン輸送活性を有する蛋白質 [3]配列番号1~26のいずれかで表されるアミノ酸配列と80%以上の相同性を有し、かつグルタチオン輸送活性を有する蛋白質
