Abstract

　ＭＤＣＴおよびＩＣＰを使用してスケーラブルなステレオ音声符号化を実行する場合において、符号化・復号の高効率化と復号音声の高品質化の両方を実現する符号化装置。この符号化装置では、ＭＤＣＴ変換部（１１１）は、窓掛け処理後の左チャネル／右チャネルの残差信号に対してＭＤＣＴ変換を実行する。ＭＤＣＴ変換部（１１２）は、窓掛け処理後のモノラル残差信号に対してＭＤＣＴ変換を実行する。ＩＣＰ分析部（１１７）は、左チャネル／右チャネル残差信号の高帯域部分の周波数係数とモノラル残差信号の高帯域部分の周波数係数との相関関係を用いてＩＣＰ分析を行い、左チャネル／右チャネル残差信号のＩＣＰパラメータを生成する。ＩＣＰパラメータ量子化部（１１８）は、各ＩＣＰパラメータを量子化する。低帯域符号化部（１１９）は、左チャネル／右チャネル残差信号の低帯域部分の周波数係数に対して高精度の符号化を行う。
