Abstract

L'invention concerne un airbag constitué d'au moins deux couches, chaque couche présentant au moins un bord d'assemblage et chaque bord d'assemblage (11, 12, 13, 14, 25, 36) étant relié à un autre bord d'assemblage, de sorte que les couches forment une enveloppe d'airbag enfermant une chambre gonflable. L'objectif de cette invention est d'améliorer l'assemblage entre les couches, notamment si ces couches sont constituées d'une feuille. A cet effet, les couches sont assemblées par soudage ou par collage le long de leur(s) bord(s) d'assemblage. De plus, deux bords d'assemblage assemblés sont orientés antiparallèlement l'un à l'autre.
