Abstract

Réseau vidéo comprenant des kiosques publics présentant une capacité de stockage numérique. Une commande d'inventaire centralisée gère les fichiers vidéo stockés dans des kiosques individuels ou des réseaux LAN. Un utilisateur demande un fichier multimédia à télécharger et sélectionne différents fichiers auxiliaires et caractéristiques de commande, tels que les langues, les sous-titres, la commande de nudité, etc. Le fichier demandé est crypté selon une clé de cryptage, filigrané et téléchargé à partir d'un port grande vitesse d'un kiosque public vers un dispositif à mémoire grande vitesse propriétaire portable d'un utilisateur. Le paiement est reçu au moment de la demande ou au moment du téléchargement, et les royalties sont distribuées par le réseau vidéo aux détenteurs de copyright. Des applications informatiques ou dispositifs de lecture permettent aux utilisateurs de stocker et/ou de lire des fichiers vidéo qui ont été téléchargés sur un dispositif portable tout en gérant et en faisant valoir les droits numériques des fournisseurs de contenu par l'intermédiaire du filigrane et/ou du cryptage.
