Abstract

 複数の連続したフレームが含まれる動画データと、前記フレームに対応し、かつ、当該フレームよりも高い空間解像度を有する一又は複数の画像データとを取得する取得部と、前記動画データを用いて前記フレーム間の動きベクトルを検出する動き予測部と、所定の前記フレームと前記画像データに対応する前記フレームとの間の差分量を算出する差分量算出部と、前記画像データに対応する前記フレームと前記動きベクトルとに基づいて、前記所定のフレームに対応する動き補償された画像データを生成することが可能な画像生成部と、を備える画像処理装置が提供される。
