La plaquette de coupe comporte une face latérale (3), de positionnement cadré contre une paroi latérale de cadrage (53) d'un logement (50) de porte-outil, comportant un nez de cadrage (39) présentant des première (31) et deuxième (32) surfaces latérales de cadrage venant en appui contre respectivement des première et deuxième surfaces latérales menantes de cadrage (41, 42), et comportant, à distance, une troisième surface latérale (33) de cadrage par appui contre une troisième surface de paroi latérale menante de cadrage (43), deux parmi les première (31), deuxième (32) et troisième (33) surfaces de cadrage étant mutuellement inclinées de façon à assurer un cadrage en une position prévue de défilement, par rapport aux surfaces de paroi latérale menante en regard.
