Abstract
監視対象領域に市松模様などの明暗パターンを投影する。そのパターンを時系列的に撮影する。異なる時点での画像の差分を取って差分画像を生成する。監視対象領域内に動きが無いとき差分画像は0値になる。監視対象領域内で何かの物体が動くと、動いた物体の輪郭内に差分画像が残る。その輪郭の形状と位置から平面的な特徴が抽出される。その輪郭内に撮影され、物体の存在によって歪んだ明暗パターンに基づいて、物体の高さが検出される。
