Abstract

Disclosed is an adhesive sheet for an optical film, which comprises a mold release sheet and an adhesive layer formed on the mold release sheet, wherein the surface roughness (Ra) of the surface of the adhesive layer on the mold release sheet is 2 to 150 nm. The adhesive sheet can be produced by a production process comprising the steps of: applying an adhesive coating solution on a mold release sheet; and subjecting the adhesive coating solution to a first drying operation at a temperature of 30 to 80˚C and an air flow rate of 0.5 to 15 m/second and a second drying operation at a temperature of 90 to 160˚C and an air flow rate of 0.1 to 25 m/second to form an adhesive layer on the mold release sheet. When the adhesive sheet is applied to an image display device such as a liquid crystal display device, the occurrence of a trouble in visibility attributed to the adhesive layer can be reduced.
