Abstract

The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for processing digital contents based on an RFIID tag and a computer-readable medium having thereon a program performing a function embodying the same, and more particularly to an apparatus and a method for processing digital contents based on an RFIID tag and a computer-readable medium having thereon a program performing a function embodying the same wherein the copyright verification data stored in a radio frequency identification tag is compared to a copyright information included in a digital content to verify an authenticity of the digital content, thereby allowing a copyright management at a low cost. In accordance with the present invention, the copyright verification data stored in a radio frequency identification tag is compared to a copyright information included in a digital content to verify an authenticity of the digital content. Accordingly, a copyright management is possible at a low cost. In addition, when the radio frequency identification tag is attached to the digital content processing apparatus, the digital content may only be executed in the corresponding digital content processing apparatus.
