Abstract
A workpiece holder unit includes a platform (11) to support a workpiece thereon, an elongated groove (12a) extending in a conveying direction along a driven part (12) that is made at any one of crosswise opposed sides of the platform to experience conveying power, and a bearing part (13) extending in the conveying direction on the other side of the platform. A conveyor system includes a pair of crosswise opposite frames (111, 112) extending in the conveying direction, multiple pulleys (120) lying successively in the conveying direction near any one of the crosswise opposite frames, an endless belt (130) wound around the multiple pulleys while fitted into the elongated groove (12a) to make engagement with the groove, a driving motor (140) exerting a torque to at least one of the multiple pulleys, and multiple rollers (160) arranged successively in the conveying direction near the other frame to come into rolling contact with the bearing part. The system as stated earlier makes it possible to convey smoothly the workpiece such as an electronic part and the like without causing any impact or the like, even with accompanying simple construction, reduction in number of the parts required, shrinking the system and low cost.
