Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé, ainsi qu'un dispositif conçu pour réaliser ce procédé, pour surveiller les propriétés de réception d'un signal TV. Des signaux haute fréquence sont reçus via au moins une antenne. Selon l'invention, une unité de réception dotée de n voies de réception transforme les signaux HF reçus en données vidéo et elle analyse ainsi les informations relatives à la qualité du signal vidéo reçu puis envoie ces informations à un contrôleur hôte. Le contrôleur hôte analyse les informations du site émetteur grâce à une unité mathématique et signale certains événements. Il décide alors si l'unité de réception doit changer de canal ou pas pour obtenir une meilleure réception.
