Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif musical qui génère des tons de notes, influence le son des notes qui sont générées indépendamment et réalise une variété d'activités définies ou commandées par l'utilisateur. Ces activités consistent de façon non exhaustive à produire des notes musicales, à déterminer, influencer ou modifier le son, la qualité, la voix, le volume ou d'autres caractéristiques d'une note, à activer et coordonner la répétition de boucles enregistrées, à enregistrer, modifier et jouer des pièces composées par l'utilisateur produites précédemment et à commander des dispositifs périphériques comme de l'éclairage. Le dispositif musical utilise une combinaison de cordes et de frettes pour situer les notes sur une touche activée par l'utilisateur. Les notes correspondent à la position sur la touche. Par conséquent l'invention concerne un système permettant de générer un son correspondant à une note sélectionnée et activée en fonction de paramètres présélectionnés comme la voix (par ex. trompette, violon). L'intention d'un utilisateur de jouer une note particulière est de préférence confirmée par un système de capteurs correspondant à la position de chaque note qui confirme l'intention de l'utilisateur de jouer une note particulière. Le dispositif musical comprend aussi un commutateur ou plus pour activer les fonctions, boucles ou voix correspondant aux positions des notes sur la touche.
