Abstract

Procédé de torréfaction d'une charge de biomasse végétale (B), comprenant les étapes suivantes: - génération d'un flux gazeux de traitement par des moyens de génération thermique (G); - génération d'une couche de matière à haute température, dite base thermique; - traitement de ladite charge de biomasse (B) par ledit flux gazeux de traitement, ledit flux gazeux de traitement se chargeant d'éléments gazeux comprenant de la vapeur d'eau et de gaz de pyrolyse combustibles provenant de ladite charge de biomasse (B) lors dudit traitement; et - recyclage d'au moins une partie de ladite vapeur d'eau par passage d'au moins une partie dudit flux gazeux chargé au travers de ladite base thermique; L'invention concerne aussi un système de torréfaction d'une charge de biomasse végétale (B).
