Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de mesure sans contact de la position d'une cible (8, 9), comprenant : au moins un capteur comprenant au moins un ensemble de trois bobines, dont deux bobines émettrices (LI, LG), une bobine réceptrice (LM) ou deux bobines réceptrices (LI, LG) et une bobine émettrice (LM); des moyens d'excitation de chaque bobine émettrice par un signal alternatif d'excitation; pour chaque capteur, des moyens pour mesurer un signal alternatif de réception, généré par les bobines réceptrices par mutuelle inductance avec les bobines émettrices, les deux mutuelles inductances entre une bobine émettrice et une bobine réceptrice du capteur étant sensiblement opposées pour une position d'équilibre donnée de la cible par rapport au capteur; des moyens pour déterminer, à partir des signaux de réception, une distance entre la cible et un des capteurs. L'invention permet la mesure de un à tous les degrés de liberté de déplacement de la cible, en maximisant la porté du capteur, et en en minimisant les non-linéarités, pour une dimension donnée de l'ensemble qui peut être réalisé sur un même support plan. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé mis en œuvre par le dispositif selon l'invention.
