  • the present invention also provides for a method of making a supplemental dietary composition useful for enhancing muscle performance and/or recovery from fatigue without the bitter taste associated with GAKIC.
  • the method of manufacturing the supplemental dietary composition includes combining GAKIC with an effective amount of a flavor component to form the supplemental dietary composition.
  • the method of manufacturing the supplemental dietary composition may also include preparing a mixture of GAKIC, forming a core from the mixture, and coating the core with a coating that contains an effective amount of a flavor component to form the supplemental dietary composition.

Air is blown into the premix, and 7 % PVP in water solution is added to the premix. The mixture is form granulated with final PVP at %, and the granules are dried in a granulator and transferred to a screener. The granules are collected using a mesh size of 20-80, checked for uniformity/homogeneity, and then aliquoted into a serving for formulation into a powered beverage mix, tablet, caplet or ready-to-drink beverage product.

Abstract

L'invention concerne une composition de complément diététique qui, par exemple, augmente la performance musculaire ou facilite la récupération suite à une fatigue musculaire, comprenant de la glycine et du calcium de glycine-L-arginine-acide alpha-cétoisocaproïque (GAKIC), où la L-arginine se trouve sous forme de base ou de sel de monochlorhydrate, et une quantité efficace d'un aromatisant, par exemple, pour créer un arôme masquant un goût amer, de l'acésulfame de potassium (ACE-K), etc. Le GAKIC peut être sous forme de granules ou moulu finement. L'invention concerne aussi une méthode pour augmenter la performance musculaire ou faciliter la récupération suite à une fatigue musculaire par consommation d'une composition de complément diététique comprenant du GAKIC et une quantité efficace d'un aromatisant. Elle concerne aussi une méthode pour préparer des compositions comprenant du GAKIC et une quantité efficace d'un aromatisant.
