Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif médical qui permet de traiter des maladies de la main, du poignet et du bras, telles que l'ostéoarthrite et l'ostéoarthrose des articulations de la main de l'homme. Le dispositif médical comprend un système de gant multicouche, un bandage de bras, un générateur de signaux, des fils de connexion et un vêtement. Le système de gant multicouche sert d'électrode de traitement. Une des couches isole électriquement une partie de la main, permettant à une autre partie d'établir un contact électrique avec une couche conductrice. Le bandage de bras sert d'électrode de retour. Le générateur de signaux produit un signal électrique en forme de pointe spécifique, conjointement au système de gant multicouche, au niveau du site de traitement. Le dispositif peut réduire la douleur et augmenter la fonction articulaire des articulations traitées.
