Abstract

A selectively collapsible shooting support 30 is mounted on a sling 28 for supporting a weapon 32 to which the sling is attached. A cover 48 is selectively moveable with respect to the sling 38 for concealing and housing the collapsed shooting support in stored condition on the sling 38, and for releasing the support for deployment. The shooting support preferably comprises two segmented or collapsible sticks 40 connected to the sling 38 and extendable to support a firearm 32 during firing. Movement of the firearm 32 to follow a target is possible without loss of support or repositioning of the sticks 40 on a support surface 42 or a body portion of a shooter.
