Abstract

The present design is for a cigarette case comprising a body ( lθ) of 4-angle section having an opening at the top, a space therein and an incision part (A) transversely formed having a fixed distance apart from the upper end of the front side of body, cover (20) connected to the upper end of the back of said body (lθ) for a rotational movement and being opened and closed at the top of said body (lθ), and a plate spring (30) is equipped in the inner side of said cover(20) for elastic opening and closing of said cover (20), an elastic plate(13) adhered tightly to inside of said body (lθ), having the middle of the front thereof cut partly and folded upward, and an inner paper forming a snap groove (a) on the middle of said elastic plate (13), so that its opening and closing is clear despite the long - term u se and before its first-opening of cover, the goods are forwarded in the status of a plate spring inside covering the top of the inner part to prevent damage of goods, and also the plate spring is made of simple thin plate film and it allows easy manufacture and maintenance.

[Field of Invention]

As the present invention relates to a case for carrying and keeping cigarette, the cigarette case of the Utility M odel registration No. 0280168, which was previously applied for a patent, is improved for efficient and comfort opening and closing of cover put on the top of the case body.

[Background of Invention] The cigarette case applied previously for the Utility

Model registration No. 0280168, as shown in the Figure 1 or 3, comprises a body(40) having an opening at the top and 4-angle section forming a space therein, and a cover(50) hingedely connected to the upper back end of said body(40) and being opened and closed at the top of said body. Also an incision part(A) is transversely formed having a fixed distance apart from the upper end of the front side of said body(40), a snap groove(B) is inside of the front of said cover(50), a fastener lug(41) is projected in the upper end of said body(40) for an engagement with said snap groove(B) of said cover(50) and a plate spring (60) is equipped between upper end of the back inside said body(40) and the inner side of said cover(50) for automatic opening of cover(50) by its elastic and repulsive power.

Here, the front end attaching side(C) of said plate spring(60), being elastic materials multiple-folded with different widths, is extended to be stuck on upper end of the back inside said body(40) and the back side of the elastic materials is put on the top inside said cover(50). In addition, an inner incision (D) is transversely made on the inner paper(42) closely stuck in the inside of said body(40) not to expose inner part of said body(40) owing to said incision part(A) formed in the front, and said inner incision (D) has the different location from said incision part(A). The previously applied design, being comprised as above, includes said incision part(A) cut transversely on the upper front of said body (40) so as to have independent movement between the upper and lower parts.

In other words, said incision part(A) cuts succession of transformations in case any external force is applied to the lower part of said incision part(A), so the fastener lug(41) on the upper front of said incision part(A) maintains its engagement with the snap groove(B ).

When putting the upper front of said incision part(A), said fastener lug (41) moves inside consequently and gets out from said snap groove(B).

In case letting said cover(50) move and cover the opening of the top of said body(40), said fastener lug(41) comes to be inserted in said snap groove(B) and be locked, therein pressure is applied to said plate spring (60), a device of elasticity.

Said fastener lug(41) comes to be out of said snap groove(B) and said plate spring (60) makes the elasticity, that is, upward movement being restored to the back when putting on the upper front of said body(40), consequently said cover(50) makes rotational movement backward from the top of said body (40).

Such a former cigarette case, however, gets a transformed part including fastener lug and the operation of opening and are closing thereof becomes defective as time passes, and there also disadvantages of complicated structure of a plate spring and running down of elastic power of the spring in the case of long -term storage.

[Detailed Description of Invention] To solve the above problems of former cigarette cases, a fastener lug is formed for flexible engagement with a snap groove, a plate spring is made in the form of covering the inside upper part before first-opening of cover, and then after its initial opening, curve-bending the plate spring to be adhered closely to the top inside a cover. Namely, this device aims to provide a cigarette case of which the spring can have a cover operate its opening and closing more elastically.

The present design, as shown in Figure 4 or 10, has the basic structural characteristics that a body(lθ) of 4-angle section having an opening at the top, a space therein and an incision part(A) transversely formed having a fixed distance apart from the upper end of the front side of body, cover(20) connected to the upper end of the back of said body (10) for a rotational movement and being opened and closed at the top of said body(lθ), and a plate spring (30) is equipped in the inner side of said cover(20) for elastic opening and closing of said cover(20).

Inner papers(ll) (12), adhered tightly on the inside of said body(lθ), comprise the No. 1 inner paper(ll) forming a front and sides and No. 2 inner paper(12) forming a back, and the middle of the front side of said No. 1 inner paper(ll) is partly cut and folded upward, consequently, an elastic plate(13) is made and a snap groove(a) is formed on the middle of the said elastic plate(13). S aid cover(20) has the whole surface being m ade of double plates and holes are formed a fixed distance apart from each other in the in side plate and a fixing strap, which takes shape of a fastener lug (21), is inserted into both holes and then folded to be fixed. Said plate spring (30), m ade of a thin plate film w ith elastic pow er, is form ed to be available 3- division folding and its low er end is inserted between said No. 2 inner paper(12) and the back side of said body(lθ) and its upper part is stuck closely on the top side inside said cover(20) for elastic bending of the middle. At the time of wrapping of goods, the middle part is come to cover the upper part of cigarettes and the upper end of the spring covers the front upper part of cigarettes.

This design, comprising as above, makes the middle of said plate spring (30) cover the upside of cigarettes and the upper end of said plate spring (30) is placed on the front upper part of said body ( lθ) in the case of initial opening, so it functions to prevent said plate spring (30) from transforming by external force.

Users makes the middle of said plate spring(30) curve-bent and the upper end stuck on the top inside said cover(20), consequently elastic and repulsive power is applied to said cover(20) by the bent middle part.

Also, said incision part(A) is cut out transversely on the front of said body(lθ) to have independent movement between upper and low er parts of said incision part(A ) ag ainst front-rearward force, and said elastic plate(13) of said No. 1 inner paper retains an elasticity having tendency of forward movement due to the fact that said elastic plate(13) is bent upw ard. When making a rotational movement forward of said cover(20) and putting it on said body(lθ), said fastener lug(21) inside said cover(20) slides on said elastic plate(13) and comes to be engagement with said snap groove(a), and in case an external force is applied to below said incision part(A) of said body(lθ), said incision part(A) cuts the transformation so that said snap groove(a) above the front of said incision part(A) maintains its engaging with said fastener lug (21 ).

On the contrary, if putting the front above said incision part(A), said elastic plate(13) moves simultaneously inward and said fastener lug(21) gets out of said snap groove(a), so said cover(20) makes a rotational movement on the axis of back end.

[Commercial Usability] This design includes a fastener lug elastically stuck to a snap groove, so that its opening and closing is clear despite the long-term use and before its first-opening of cover, the goods are forwarded in the status of a plate spring inside covering the top of the inner part to prevent damage of goods, and also the plate spring is made of simple thin plate film and it allows easy manufacture and maintenance.

[Claim 1] A cigarette case, comprising: a body(lθ) of 4-angle section having an opening at the top, a space therein and an incision part(A) transversely formed having a fixed distance apart from the upper end of the front side of body, a cover(20) connected to the upper end of the back of said body (10) for a rotational movement and being opened and closed at the top of said body (10), a plate spring (30) equipped in the inner side of said cover(20) for elastic opening and closing of said cover(20), an elastic plate(13) adhered tightly to inside of said body(lθ), having the middle of the front thereof cut partly and folded upw ard, and an inner paper form ing a snap groove (a) on the m iddle of said elastic plate ( 13 ) .

The cigarette case according to claim 1, wherein said cover(20) has whole surface being m ade of double plates and holes are formed a fixed distance apart from each other in the inside plate and the both ends of a fixing strap(22), which takes shape of a fastener lug (21 ), are inserted into both holes and then folded to be fixed.

The cigarette case of claim 1, comprising said plate spring (30), made of a thin plate film w ith elastic power, is formed to be available 3-division folding and its lower end is inserted between said No. 2 inner paper(12) and the back side of said body (10) and its upper part is stuck closely on the top inside said cover(20) for elastic bending of the middle.

The cigarette case according to claim 1, further comprising said plate spring at the time of wrapping of goods, the middle part is come to cover upper part of cigarettes and the upper end of the spring covers the front upper part of cigarettes.
