Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for the detection of binding between a ligand and its binding partner and thus provides an improved competitive binding assay for detecting and measuring a ligand. The present invention further provides a liquid container for detecting and measuring a ligand in a liquid, which, in addition to an extracting phase with the capability to extract a ligand from the liquid phase, is provided with detection means for detection of ligands or analogs thereof.
