Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for recording data in an optical record carrier (10) which is intended to be readout without being rotated. In accordance with the invention the method comprises the following steps: providing an optical record carrier (10); rotating said written optical record carrier (10); and recording said data in said written optical record carrier (10) by writing pits in said written optical record carrier (10) with a modulated laser beam. The invention is also directed to an apparatus for recording data in an optical record carrier (10) and to an optical record (10).
