Abstract

Copolymer resin obtained by the condensation of 4 - { l - [ ( 2, 4 -dinitrophenyl) -hydrozone] -ethyl} -benzene -1, 3 -diol} with phenol and furfural in the presence of an acid or basic catalyst in water / ethanol mixtures of temperatures between 20 and 1500C, having a molecular weight between 1000 and 50.000. Anodic or cathodic catalysts for fuel cells obtained by the treatment of metal complexes and such a copolymeric resin, their preparation processes and electrodes for fuel cells comprising there catalysts .
