Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une pompe à sang, qui consiste à sélectionner dans une chambre de pompage définie par une poche expansible une courbe de débit souhaitée, basée généralement sur le débit sanguin du coeur naturel, en utilisant un modèle informatique initial de la courbe de débit souhaitée, pour déterminer la composition matérielle et les conditions de fonctionnement dynamique de chaque partie de la poche, à concevoir un système d'exploitation de poche et de pompe, à réaliser une modélisation informatique de cette conception, à tester et à affiner cette conception, et à construire un prototype sur la base de celle-ci. Pour établir la courbe de débit souhaitée, on guide et on dirige le courant sanguin à travers la chambre de pompage par l'action de la poche expansible sur le courant sanguin. On obtient alors un trajet de liquide continu circulaire ou en spirale qui rince plus efficacement avec du sang toutes les zones de la poche, y compris les orifices d'entrée et de décharge, afin de limiter les risques de thrombose.
