Abstract

La présente invention concerne des charbons actifs à propriétés mécaniques améliorées. lis peuvent avantageusement être utilisés dans l'adoucissement de fractions pétrolières comme support de catalyseur d'oxydation dans la transformation de mercaptans en disulfures mais aussi dans tout autre type de réactions, comme par exemple pour l'oxydation du cyanure contenu dans l'eau ou dans la synthèse du glyphosate, ainsi que dans des procédés de purification et/ou séparation par adsorption sélective en phase liquide et/ou en phase gazeuse (décoloration de liquides alimentaires, traitement d'eau, traitement d'air, récupération de solvants, etc.)
