Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant d'appliquer un rayonnement dans une fibre optique pour la détection d'une maladie dans une plante ou chez un animal ou autre tissu pénétrable, ou pour l'imagerie d'un tissu particulier d'une plante ou d'un animal. Une telle application de rayonnement dans une fibre optique permet également de détecter et de localiser des signaux de diffusion non linéaire et de fluorescence chez un sujet. Le rayonnement favorise efficacement une excitation multiphotonique simultanée. Les fibres optiques sont utilisées seules afin d'examiner des zones internes de tissus ; elles sont utilisées avec une aiguille de biopsie optique afin d'évaluer un tissu sub-superficiel ou avec un endoscope afin d'évaluer le tissu dans les cavités de l'organisme. La présente invention concerne également un dispositif permettant de coupler un rayonnement d'un laser verrouillé en mode ultracourt dans la voie du faisceau d'un microscope.
