Abstract

L'invention concerne un ballast électronique (10) conçu pour une lampe à décharge, comprenant un générateur de puissance à fréquence variable (14), un réseau d'attaque accordé (20) ainsi qu'un système de modulation à correction de creux (100). Le réseau d'attaque (20) présente une première fréquence de résonance lorsque la lampe est éteinte ainsi qu'une seconde fréquence de résonance lorsque la lampe est allumée. Le générateur de puissance (14) commute un signal de ligne de transport d'énergie à courant alternatif rectifié à une fréquence d'allumage de lampe qui correspond à ladite première fréquence de résonance pour allumer la lampe, ainsi qu'à une fréquence de fonctionnement de lampe qui correspond à ladite seconde fréquence de résonance pour faire fonctionner la lampe. Le système de modulation à correction de creux (100) compense les basses tensions cycliques du cycle de tension de ligne de transport d'énergie à courant alternatif, par ajustement de la fréquence de fonctionnement de la lampe, de façon qu'elle soit plus proche de la seconde fréquence de résonance.
