Abstract

This invention refers to a method of synchronizing words and phrases displayed in the text of Internet website pages with data related to the words and phrases by providing the network location URL (Unique Resource Location) of related data contained in other Internet website pages and databases which support hyper text links to Internet website pages. The purpose of this invention is to facilitate Internet users access to data by synchronizing words and phrases displayed in internet website pages with related data available in other Internet website pages and databases which support hypertext links to internet website pages. The purpose is achieved through collecting and analyzing the source code and text data of Internet website pages in order to ascertain whether they contain words and phrases logged in a keyword database. If the text data from Internet website page is found to contain words and phrases logged in the keyword database, relevant synchronization code, containing attributes and parameters particular to the words and phrases as determined in the keyword database, is inserted into the source code of the Internet website page thus changing the visual representation of the words and phrases in the Internet website page and making the words and phrases hypertext links to the network location URL of the related data. The analyzed and processed text is then returned to the originating Internet website database for public viewing in the Internet website page.
