Abstract

A book-like data package that utilizes dovetail shaped clips (11) to attach trays (35) to a cover (75). The clips (11) have living hinges (45) molded between each segment. The book-like cover (75) has a cover (65), flexible spine (69) and back panel (67) with openings (71) on the spine (69) that are smaller than the length of the clips (11). These openings (71) are parallel mounting slots that leave a center strip (73) to lock the trays (35) and cover (75) together. To attach the trays (35) to the cover (75), the clips (11) are folded to a size less than the openings (71), passed through the openings (71), over the center strip (73) and pressed forward to return to their original configuration. Each clip (11) has a groove (21) to receive a locking rib (61) molded into the center of each dovetail-shaped pocket (33) on the trays (35).
