Abstract

Les opérations de paiement par liaison radio sont pénalisées par des problèmes liés à la sécurité et à la durée de la transaction. L'objectif de l'invention est de trouver un compromis entre deux mesures contradictoires, à savoir une diminution de la charge du réseau pour les communications touchant à la sécurité lors de transactions financières effectuées au moyen de cartes Ec, cartes de crédit, cartes de club quelconques, et une réduction importante de la durée de la transaction. Cet objectif est atteint par le système de paiement selon l'invention. Ce système utilise, outre la carte pour la liaison radio, une carte de certificat dans le radiotéléphone. De plus, un paquet de données signées et codées est formé à partir des données pertinentes pour le bénéficiaire et l'opération de paiement, associées aux données pour la liaison avec la banque du client, au moyen de la carte de certificat, ledit paquet devant être transmis uniquement à l'opérateur de radiotéléphonie. Ce système de paiement trouve des applications dans les transactions commerciales de tous types, effectuées au moyen de cartes de club ou de cartes de crédit, notamment pour le paiement de marchandises et de services, lesdites transactions étant réalisées de manière sécurisée par l'intermédiaire d'une liaison radio ouverte.
