Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif gonflable polymorphe permettant d'abord au rescapé d'effectuer une rotation corrective lors de son entrée dans l'eau par établissement d'une flottabilité élevée au niveau de la poitrine, d'où une rotation corrective optimale. Après stabilisation du rescapé avec le visage tourné vers le haut, la vessie peut être reconfigurée de sorte à présenter des améliorations supplémentaires en termes d'émersion et de positionnement en surface. Cette vessie peut être retirée et convertie en un indicateur de détresse permettant d'alerter un sauveteur et de signaler l'emplacement du rescapé. La flottabilité de l'indicateur peut également être modifiée de sorte que la vessie soit entièrement immergée et fournisse une émersion optimale facilitant la recherche d'autres navires tout en améliorant la stabilité latérale, le rescapé pouvant être supporté en position foetale. Si la houle se renforce, la vessie peut être reconfigurée en vue d'une nouvelle rotation corrective prioritairement à l'émersion verticale.
