Abstract

Zumindest teilweise über ein paketorientiertes Kommunikationsnetz - z.B. Ethernet (IEEE 802.3)- (EN) oder über ein zellenorientiertes Kommunikationsnetz zu übermittelnde Informationen (cell) werden als Nutzinformation (data) in ein Nutzdatenfeld (nf) zumindest eines jeweils Ziel- und Nutzinformationen (DA, data) aufweisendes Datenpaketes (dp) des Kommunikationsnetzes (EN) oder in einen Zeitschlitz des zeitschlitzorientierten Kommunikationsnetzes eingefügt. Erfindungsgemäß werden den Informationen vor dem Einfügen in das Datenpaket (dp) oder in den Zeitschlitz zusätzliche Routinginformationen (ri) zur Weitervermittlung zugeordnet, mit denen die mit dem Datenpaket (dp) oder Zeitschlitz an ein im paket- oder zellenorientierten Kommunikationsnetz angeordnetes Ziel übermittelten Informationen (cell) in Abhängigkeit von den jeweils zugeordneten Routinginformationen weitervermittelt werden. Vorteilhaft können auf kostengünstige Weise über verschiedene Verbindungen zu übermittelnde Informationen cell(vc1), cell(vc2) transparent über ein paketorientiertes Kommunikationsnetz (EN) übertragen werden.
