Abstract

The present invention provides polynucleotides comprising chimeric parvovirus (e.g., AAV) rep coding sequences. The polynucleotides optionally encode parvovirus cap coding sequences. Also provided are vectors and cells comprising the inventive polynucleotides. Further provided are improved methods of making hybrid parvovirus stocks using the chimeric rep coding sequences of the invention.
