Abstract

Selon la présente invention, du gaz est fourni d'une installation hôte (2) à un compresseur de gaz subaquatique (10) par l'intermédiaire d'un pipeline de connexion (6) et ledit compresseur de gaz est relié à plusieurs puits d'injection de gaz (7) destinés à alimenter un réservoir d'hydrocarbures par l'intermédiaire de goulottes (8) d'alimentation de puits. Ledit compresseur de gaz (10) comprime le gaz fourni à une pression plus élevée et conduit le gaz dans le réservoir par l'intermédiaire des goulottes (8) et des puits d'injection de gaz (7) à une pression au moins aussi élevée que la pression du fluide de production contenu dans le réservoir. Ceci permet d'élever la pression globale dans le réservoir pour amener le fluide de production vers l'installation hôte (2). Le gaz comprimé peut, dans une variante, être injecté dans du fluide de production au niveau d'un puits de production pour obtenir un effet de poussée de gaz.
