Abstract

La présente invention concerne des combustibles utilisés dans les domaines de l'énergie et du transport, et plus précisément, pour alimenter des moteurs à combustion interne. L'objet de cette invention vise à accroître l'indice d'octane d'un combustible hydrocarboné à faible indice d'octane. On peut y parvenir si, dans le combustible hydrocarboné liquide renfermant du pétrole et un additif de combustible, lequel contient de l'eau et un agent tensioactif, on ajoute du gazole, si on utilise une essence sans plomb à faible indice d'octane comme base d'hydrocarbure, et si l'additif de combustible (modificateur de mélange combustible) contient : des composés tels que chlorure, nitrate, hydroxyde, chromate, dichromate, bromate, bromure, carbonate et des mélanges de ces derniers ; un agent tensioactif, par exemple un agent tensioactif non ionique tel que le TVIN-80 et le pentol ; et de l'eau. La composition de ce combustible hydrocarboné liquide est la suivante : entre 50 et 95 % en masse d'essence sans plomb à faible indice d'octane, entre 1 et 80 % en masse de gazole et entre 5 et 49 % en masse d'additif de combustible.
