Abstract

Grâce à ce procédé, un utilisation falsifiée est décelée dans un système de médiation de compagnie de cartes de crédit ainsi que dans un magasin à carte électronique (EC). Un système serveur d'authentification de règlement, qui reçoit des données de règlement électronique provenant d'un terminal utilisateur, est relié par un moyen de communication à un serveur de magasin EC et à un système d'agence de règlement, notamment une compagnie de cartes de crédits. Ce système serveur d'authentification de règlement, qui comporte un serveur de médiation de données de règlement destiné au traitement des données entre le serveur du magasin EC et le système d'agence de règlement, comporte également un serveur d'authentification AI. Ce dernier possède une base de données de voies d'accès et une base de données d'historique d'accès. Les données de voie d'accès sont extraites des données de demande de règlement provenant du terminal utilisateur. Il est établi grâce à l'exploitation statistique des données si la demande correspond ou non à une configuration prédéterminée d'utilisation falsifiée et ce, par référence à la base de données de voies d'accès et à la base de données d'historique d'accès. Une fausse demande de règlement est donc décelée avant que ne soient transmises les données de demande de règlement au système d'agence de règlement, en l'occurrence, une compagnie de cartes de crédits.
