Abstract

The invention concerns the field of organic chemistry and more particularly that related to the synthesis of novel molecules capable of exhibiting biological properties, in particular therapeutic and more particularly properties for preventing or treating certain diseases such as in particular cancer-type diseases. The invention concerns a novel method for chemical synthesis of (Z)-3,5,4'-trimethoxystilbene (compound R3), the compound obtainable by said method, the use of said compound as medicine in particular as synthetic anticancer drug at low production cost, the corresponding medicine and various uses of said compound (R3).
