Abstract
Elément graphique de protection des billets de banque, papiers valeurs et documents. Il est constitué d'une image codée (6) et de sa clé, toutes deux imprimées et se présentant comme des matrices de cellules binaires en deux dimensions à structure périodique, qui forment, superposées, une image visible de l'élément graphique (7). Le procédé de fabrication de l'élément graphique consiste à former une image codée et sa clé à partir de l'image d'entrée à coder. Le codage s'effectue à l'aide d'un programme informatique spécial qui transforme l'image d'entrée en une image graphique à niveaux multiples dont chaque niveau est remplacé partout par une matrice de cellules d'une structure ordonnée non périodique, la clé de l'image codée est imprimée inversée au verso de l'article à protéger après avoir été superposé exactement à l'image codée (6). L'image codée (6) et sa clé, qui peuvent avoir des dimensions différentes, sont imprimées sur l'article à protéger avec des encres couleur, sous un angle d'orientation déterminé.
