Abstract

A stock price providing method, a cellular telephone, a program to be mounted on the cellular telephone, and a stock price information providing server capable of improving service and reducing information amount communicated. When providing stock price information using a cellular telephone, a user prepares a cellular telephone (30) having an environment for executing the program to be mounted on the cellular telephone and fetches the program by the cellular telephone (30) from the stock price information providing server (20) via a communication network (1). By executing the program on the cellular telephone (30), stock information data is fetched from the server (20) via the communication network (1) and a stock price chart is created according to this data and displayed on a display unit (32).
