Abstract

L'invention concerne un système télématique composé d'un dispositif de traitement de données comportant une unité processeur et au moins une unité mémoire, d'une interface destinée à l'introduction de données, d'une interface destinée à la lecture de données, d'une unité de commande réseau et d'une interface bidirectionnelle permettant de mettre en réseau le dispositif de traitement de données et une pluralité de dispositifs de traitement de données reliés entre eux, et de saisir des instructions pour la commande de l'unité processeur. Ledit système est caractérisé en ce qu'il est conçu en tant qu'unité portable individuelle et l'interface bidirectionnelle est reliée d'une part à un dispositif de communication à bande large portable pouvant être exploité au moyen d'un protocole UMTS, permettant un accès Internet, et d'autre part à un dispositif GPS portable. Ledit système comporte par ailleurs un dispositif mémoire dans lequel des indications de position successives dans le temps du dispositif GPS sont enregistrées de façon intermédiaire jusqu'à introduction d'une nouvelle indication de position. Ainsi, une indication de position peut être interrogée à chaque instant dans l'unité mémoire pour introduction dans l'unité processeur, une localisation précise peut être effectuée, et une transmission bidirectionnelle d'informations est possible par l'intermédiaire d'Internet même dans le cas d'une utilisation personnelle.
