- the present invention concerns gas plants for vehicles in general and in particular refers to a fuel injector bar, usually known also as a "fuel rail”, for such gas systems.

- the fuel which comes from a cylinder or container on board the vehicle, is delivered through regulation and control valve devices, flows through a pressure regulator to reduce the gas pressure to a pre-set operating pressure, and which is finally fed to the engine cylinders by means of a injector bar, that is a "fuel rail”.
- fuel rail and gas pressure reducer are completely separate and independent components. Therefore, when they are installed on a vehicle with gas fuelled engine, they have to be manipulated, positioned and assembled separately and then connected to each other and to other components making up the plant by conduits. It is evident however that the production, management, handling and installation of separate units entails time and high, nonetheless significant labour costs, and furthermore increase the presence and use of auxiliary elements which contribute to complicating the plant they are installed in.
- the main aim of the present invention is to propose a functional component for gas plants for vehicles, in which can be found a fuel injector bar and a gas pressure reducer, integrated and fitted together to form a single element so that it can be handled and managed jointly and simultaneously .
- Another aim of the invention is to achieve and place at the disposal of the inherent technology of the gas plants for vehicles a single component that incorporates two functions, up to now separate, which reduces the amount of time and labour required during installation, and above all simplifies the part of the plant which is in the engine housing of a vehicle, as the number of elements to be housed is less.

- the body of the injector bar B and the body of the pressure reducer R are joined, either mechanically or made up of a single element, so as to form a single integrated unit.
- the resulting unit can be handled and placed in position easier than two separate elements, and in the case in question the functions of the injector bar and the pressure reducer are united without the need for elements to be inserted or added.
- a circuit C usually water to heat the gas, can be connected to the pressure reducer R.
- the direct connection of the reducer with the injector bar therefore excludes intermediate tubing and eliminates loss of load in the gas flow, guaranteeing improved regularity of feed in a gas fuelled engine and less reaction of the motor to acceleration and deceleration transients resulting in more stable functioning of the latter.
