Abstract

Method for controlling an elevator group by utilizing an intelligent building control system comprising building and passenger models. According to the invention, passenger-specific passenger databases obtained from the intelligent building control system are used for making more intelligent allocation decisions for the elevators included in the elevator group as well as more intelligent passenger decisions.
