Abstract

L'invention concerne une approche pluridisciplinaire en vue de valider ou d'identifier des cibles impliquées dans tout processus ou cheminement biologique donné, par exemple une réponse immune, ou progression ou régression d'une maladie. En soumettant au moins une cible avec, par exemple, au moins un vecteur d'apport génique ou d'autres matières étrangères, à un système in vivo, et en intégrant, par exemple, des données pathologiques, pharmacologiques, d'essais biologiques, de microréseaux et bioinformatiques dans ledit système, il est possible (1) d'identifier au moins une cible, par exemple des gènes, impliquée dans un cheminement biologique d'intérêt, (2) de mettre en oeuvre ces cibles identifiées en vue d'une nouvelle analyse du processus ou cheminement biologique et (3) de produire une approche évolutive in vivo pour de grandes quantités potentielles de découvertes et validations cibles. Ce processus peut servir quel que soit le nombre d'applications, y compris l'identification d'agonistes et d'antagonistes, à un processus ou cheminement biologique, susceptibles de conduire à la découverte de médicaments et de vaccins.
