Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de paiement à un destinataire en voyage dans un ou plusieurs pays étrangers, consistant à entrer des informations de transfert de fonds d'un expéditeur dans un ordinateur à distance. Les informations de transfert de fonds comprennent des informations d'identification du destinataire, au moins un pays dans lequel l'argent doit être reçu, et une quantité de paiement dans une monnaie de départ. Les informations de transfert de paiement sont transmises à un système informatique hôte. Lorsque celui-ci est prêt à recevoir le paiement dans le pays désigné, des informations d'identification du destinataire ainsi qu'une demande de retrait d'une partie d'une possible quantité de paiement sont entrées dans un ordinateur de paiement. Les informations d'identification du destinataire et la demande de retrait sont transmises à un système informatique hôte, et la quantité demandée est fournie au destinataire en monnaie locale.
