Abstract

L'invention concerne un tube de visualisation comprenant une source (10) d'électrons, un module (20) pourvu d'une cavité (25R, 25G, 25B) de guidage qui guide les électrons émis par ladite source (10) vers un orifice de sortie (27R, 27G, 27B) de ladite cavité (25R, 25G, 25B), et un dispositif de mise en forme de faisceau (30) qui forme un faisceau d'électrons (EBR, EBG, EBB) à partir des électrons guidés sortant l'orifice de sortie (27R, 27G, 27B). Le faisceau d'électrons (EBR, EBG, EBB) se dirige vers un écran d'affichage (3). Le dispositif de mise en forme de faisceau (30) est conçu de manière à constituer, en fonctionnement, une lentille d'électrons destinée à former ledit faisceau d'électrons (EBR, EBG, EBB) de façon à compenser d'éventuelles distorsions indésirables au niveau de la forme dudit faisceau (EBR, EBG, EBB) entre l'orifice de sortie (27R, 27G, 27B) et l'écran d'affichage (3). Ces distorsions sont, par exemple, provoquées par le champ magnétique de dispositifs de déviation (2). La qualité de l'image du tube de visualisation s'en trouve améliorée.
