Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de découvrir des annonces de services pour des services à base de protocole IP dans un train de transport du MPEG-2 au moyen de tables PSI (Program Service Information). Ces annonces de services contiennent, d'une part un jeu de correspondances partant des services à base de protocole IP et aboutissant à des paramètres de la couche physique et de la couche liaison, et d'autre part une description du contenu. Le procédé de ces modes de réalisation permet au récepteur de découvrir automatiquement l'ensemble des services à base de protocole IP existant dans le train de transport (TS) décrit dans l'annonce de services (SA), sans avoir besoin d'utiliser le réseau en interaction. Il n'y a besoin que d'un peu de configuration dans le réseau de transmission pour donner un accès complet à l'ensemble des services à base de protocole IP en diffusion disponibles.
