Abstract

L'invention concerne un ensemble pour exercer les mouvements de la main et lui conférer une résistance souple en extension-abduction et en flexion-adduction. Sommairement, l'invention comprend un élément de compression, destiné à être comprimé avec souplesse durant le mouvement de flexion-adduction de la main, et un élément de tension, monté sur l'élément de compression et destiné à être étiré avec souplesse durant le mouvement d'extension-abduction de la main. L'élément de tension comporte un cordon principal élastomère, ayant un bout supérieur et un bout inférieur auquel est fixée une boucle pour le pouce. Une pluralité de boucles pour les doigts sont fixées à des cordons secondaires qui s'étendent à partir du bout supérieur du cordon principal dans des angles définis. Ces angles correspondent aux vecteurs de force optimaux développés lorsque la main fonctionne correctement. Le bout supérieur du cordon principal peut comporter une partie sangle pour stabiliser les cordons secondaires dans les angles définis.
